MARCUS L. SCOTT, ESQ
Marcus Scott was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California. Marcus earned his Bachelors of General Studies, in English, followed by a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology and Instructional Design from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches,Louisiana. Marcus came to New England to pursue his Juris Doctorate from Massachusetts School of Law with a concentration in Intellectual Property, and Media and Information Law. He then earned an LLM in Global Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law, from Suffolk University in Boston, MA. Marcus is Licensed in the State of Massachusetts and is focused on complex litigations, including focusing IP and Software matter,as well as Corporate and Domestic Litigation. Marcus’s practice experience includes the Federal District Court of Massachusetts as well as in the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals.
BARBARA COLLINS - RdE, ESQ
Barbara Collins-RdE is a managing partner at ScottCollins, LLP, and a native of Massachusetts. Born in Cambridge, she grew up on the North Shore, graduating from Andover High School, Merrimack College and Boston University. She taught for over two decades at Northern Essex and Salem State before returning to school to earn her Juris Doctorate at the Massachusetts School of Law. Barbara specializes in Family law, Real Estate Law, and Wills and Trusts, and also helps start up businesses get on board; she does a variety of contract work as well. Barbara is married to her husband Michael; together they have three daughters. Barbara enjoys summers in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire genealogical research and has been involved in Lawyer for the Day and a number of community service projects and environmental causes. Barbara is a strong believer in running an ethical practice, providing quality service and problem solving possible to save her clients time and money.
MARY BECKMAN, ESQ
Mary Beckman is a new Associate Attorney at ScottCollins, LLP. She received her Juris Doctorate from New England Law | Boston in 2014, with a focus on Family Law. She has previously worked with indigent clients at the New England Law Clinical Office and Norfolk Probate Court, as well as studying mediation at Massachusetts Dispute Resolution Services. She graduated from University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2011 with a double major in English and Legal Studies and a minor in Philosophy.
ALICIA LYNN HAMBLETT, ESQ
Alicia Hamblett was raised in Southern California. She made her way to New England to pursue her Law Degree. She received her Juris Doctorate from the Massachusetts School of Law. She has a non-judgemental, knowledgeable, down-to-earth approach toward her work and her clients, which she amazingly assist in obtaining positive results. Alicia specializes in representing Defendant's in various Criminal cases, throughout the State of Massachusetts.
